Things to try:

• Turn hotspot security off. 

  • There isn’t any way for the scanner to type in a security password to gain access to the smartphone’s hotspot. 

• Pair from the phone, not the Leaftech Ag application (the 1st time you set it up).

• Try updating the phone's OS to the latest release.
