Battery Life

  • All batteries used by the scanner run the risk of draining past the point of being able to hold a charge, or be recharged, if allowed to drain completely.
  • Make sure to check the battery daily, and if your battery shows one bar put it on the charger immediately. If you continue to use the battery at this point, the scanner will drain it completely and kill the battery.
  • If the battery is not maintained properly and becomes unusable Leaftech Ag will not replace it, and the user will need to replace it.
  • We suggest that you make sure the battery is put on the charger at the end of each day, and check that the battery successfully charged before using it again.
  • Note: The scanner light will turn on even if the battery is completely drained, but will not be able to operate, so make sure you are checking the battery itself for its charge level.
