You may notice messages on in your updated app (V3.0.0 or greater) that certain features are not available with the legacy scanner firmware.  

These features are as follows:

• The Wi-Fi Tab gives an error message rather than showing available connections.  
  • You will still need to use the Bluetooth tethering option. 
  • For iOS devices - Make sure hotspot is on and maximize compatibility is enabled.
  • For Android devices - Enable the Bluetooth Tethering feature in the phone's settings.
  •     
• Lab Tissue Sampling
  • Auto-generated Lab Tissue IDs are not supported on the old firmware.
  • You can still manually generate the IDs and add them to the User Input dropdown list.
  •     
• Downloading Scan Images over Bluetooth
  • Scan confirmation images will only show if the Bluetooth Tether is established.
  •
