After getting started in the app. You will see that the app has 5 tabs and a 3 line (hamburger) menu:
- Inputs
- On this tab you can select and add relevant inputs for the current scan session.
- You also have the ability to scan samples and shutdown the scanner.
- Map
- This tab shows your location as a blue dot.
- Green pin drops are plotted when scans from the current scan session are accepted
- Blue pin drops are historic scan locations from previous scan sessions that have been loaded from the History tab.
- History
- Shows the scans from previous sessions.
- You can now plot the scan pins to the map for use while scanning. This will help you return to the previous scanned locations.
- You can also see the images from previous scanning sessions. Note: The images are stored on the scanner. So you must be connected to the scanner that was used to view the images.
- Wi-Fi
- This tab allows you to connect to an existing Wi-Fi.
- The scanner will automatically reconnect to the previously used network.
- The scanner and phone must be connected to the same network to readily view images during the scanning process.
- This feature is not available on legacy firmware.
- Settings
- Selecting a checkbox next to a setting will toggle the settings on or off.
- Beta Crops - Add the extra Beta Crops for use while scanning.
- Linked Inputs - Allows you to build a truncating list of Growers, Farms and Fields. Note: Selecting a Grower filters the list of available Farms. Selecting a Farm filters the list of available Fields.
- Lock Inputs - Prevents the inputs from being changed while scanning.
- Map Pins - Toggles the pin drops on/off.
- Delete Inputs - Allows you to delete any non-selected input.
- Lab Tissue Sampling - Changes the screen color profile and automatically starts a Lab Sampling mode. Lab numbers are automatically generated and tagged to your scans. Note: This feature is not available on legacy firmware.
- Screen Timeout - When enabled, it keeps the screen active when the Leaftech Ag App is running, which help to prevent Bluetooth disconnects.
- Hamburger Menu
- Scanner Info - Displays technical info about the scanner. The details might be requested by support.
- Scans on Device - Shows a menu of scans waiting to upload.
- Help Desk - Opens the Help Desk.
- Connectivity Issues? - Opens the Connectivity Troubleshooting support page.
- GPS Issues? - Opens a page that gives some tips on correcting GPS issues.
- Scan Results - Opens the Power BI app.
